Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, of course you can.  All our Doctors of Chiropractic are Palmer graduates and have been trained at the oldest and most prestigious  Chiropractic College in the world.  We do understand that certain  people prefer one Chiropractic Doctor to another, so you will need to come to Body Traxx when the Doctor you choose is scheduled to be in the clinic.  We strive to have consistent hours for our doctors, but just like you, life happens to our doctors also.   Ask any of our team and we will tell you which days and hours your doctor is scheduled.

We won’t know until your Doctor of Chiropractic examines you.  The determinations of whether a client receives x-rays or not, is up to the treating doctor and the patient.  Rule of thumb, recent car accident, serious fall, over the age of 55, pain shooting to your foot,  are good indicators that x-rays will be needed.

Typically out of 20 new clients at Body Traxx, only one will require x-rays to begin care with Body Traxx.

If it is determined that you need a set of x-rays, Body Traxx has on site x-rays so that care can begin as soon as possible.   There is no need for making additional appointments with different clinics.

Yes.  You can cancel at anytime.

The plans are prepaid for the upcoming month by an automatic withdrawal from you credit/debit card or even your HSA (Health Savings Account).  Must have written authorization to initiate the auto withdrawal and we need written authorization to cancel.  All cancellation must be in writing, (we have an easy form at the office).

Cancellation must be completed 15 days before your schedule renewal date.

Body Traxx does not take assignment.  This means that we will not bill your insurance company for your care. In order to keep our prices affordable for all those in need, we keep our staff at a minimum, and billing insurance will dramatically increase the cost of care.

Most find that our pricing is better than their co-pay with their insurance company.

You may use your HSA (Health Savings Account).  Many of our clients use this method of payment.

Body Traxx will work with Personnel Injury cases as long as the client has an attorney working for them.  In these cases there will be additional paper work to be done.

Body Traxx has done our best to keep chiropractic care affordable and accessible to everyone in need.  There are no discounts in addition to our already great prices.

Yes, although we do not need the actual MRI films, we would like to read the “Impressions Page.”  This explains what was found on the MRI and our Doctors of Chiropractic will read this and use it to help with your case.

You can get a copy of your Impressions Page usually by calling the  MRI provider and requesting a copy. Many times they can email it to you directly while you are still on the phone.

No appointment is necessary.  We are a 100% walk-in clinic.

There are busier times that some try to avoid, but we are always working hard to get our clients in and back out to their lives.

First time clients, we do ask that you be at the clinic 1 hour before closing so that we can get your 1st visit completed (first visit usually last 30 to 45 minutes depending on your needs).

Congratulations!!  You made it to your first visit to Body Traxx!!  Your 1st visit will usually last 30 to 45 minutes.

1.  You will be given paperwork to fill out (one page, front and back).  If you would like to fill this out at home, please click the button just below, print and fill it out, then bring with you.

2.  You will be given a tour of the Body Traxx office.

3.  You will be given a brief explanation of payment methods.

4.  Now you will meet one on one with the Doctor of Chiropractic and together you will do a health assessment.  This is a good time for you ask questions about chiropractic or concerns you have.

5.  If it is decided to go forward with chiropractic treatment, an exam will be performed.  This is a thorough exam, but not an invasive exam, there will be no need to remove clothing.

6.  After this your Doctor of Chiropractic will speak with you about your exam findings and move right onto Chiropractic adjustments if necessary. In some cases, additional imaging or testing may be needed.  Your Doctor of Chiropractic will inform you of your specific needs.

7.  After your adjustment and treatment you will pay for services and be on your way.

Body Traxx Response to COVID-19

Please call 512-647-8424 with any questions.

If you are having a medical emergency, call 911.

Here at Body Traxx Chiropractic our concern has always been to our community and staff.  New concerns have developed with the occurrence of the COVID-19 (Novel coronavirus).  We are continuing with our cleanliness policy and will continue updating our procedures as needed.

As many of you know, Body Traxx Chiropractic is committed to affordable chiropractic care, with convenient hours and easy access location.  While we continue to monitor the protocols of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), along with our local health department, we will continue with our focus on you.  Providing excellent chiropractic services helping your body perform at its best. (This is the best defense against any virus.)

The following has always been our procedure to ensure a healthy office:

  1. Ozone filtration of the air every night and over the weekend.
  2. Cleaning and disinfecting the office on a regular basis.
  3. Staff follows good respiratory hygiene (Cover mouth and nose with bent elbow or tissue when sneezing or coughing)
  4. Hand sanitizers placed at each adjusting station for ease of use.
  5. After each client interaction with the doctor, hand sanitizer or hand washing before seeing next client.
  6.  If employee feels sick, stay home.

What you can do to help yourself and family:

Routine hygienic measures are the suggested best practice for prevention of viruses like the coronavirus.

  1. Do your best not to live in fear or anxiety about the situation.  Yes, it is a serious matter that requires our attention.  However, it is important to note that when we get trapped in a fear response our immune systems shut down in favor of survival mechanisms, which actually further heighten our anxiety! Be wise and discerning about your lifestyle practices and choices, and trust you are doing what you can to keep yourself and your family safe.
  2. Fresh air is vital to healthy immunity – make a point of getting outside, daily.  Even as little as 10 to 15 minutes three times throughout the day will benefit you.
  3. Rest!  Get plenty of sleep and rest.
  4. Take some time off, perhaps use this time for a personal at-home retreat where you just enjoy some time spent away from work, extra-curricular activities and the hustle and bustle of life.  Walks in nature, healthy dinners together with your family, board games, curling up with a good book and limiting your social contact are all enriching ways to protect yourself from community transmission.
  5. Increase your consumption of anti-oxidant and nutrient-dense infection-fighting foods like: organic blueberries, raspberries, spinach, sprouts, garlic, onions, ginger, parsley, cilantro, spirulina, celery juice, bone broth and fermented foods and beverages.
  6. Drink lots of water. Drinking good quality water and herbal teas are some of the best things you can do to flush out toxins from your body and help support the immune system.
  7. Keep your immune system strong by reducing your sugar intake and eating a balanced diet.  Avoid eating processed sugars. Sugar weakens the immune system and makes it less able to deal with viruses and bacteria.  Be sure to read food labels carefully and to limit the amount of sugar you eat.
